18TH MARCH 2021: GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY

As a society, we have become increasingly aware of the importance of recycling. While mass consumption methods are still sadly popular today, techniques used to undo some of the damage exist. That’s why the push for the use of solutions has become such a central talking point; as we continue to acknowledge the damage done to the environment, what can we do to solve the problem?

Well, this year, we will be celebrating Global Recycling Day. Typically held on the 18th of March, this has become a critical day for raising awareness about recycling.

It’s a day for awareness and action; it’s a day for showing people that recycling has many long-term benefits both today and into the future. Best of all, though, it’s a method that teaches people the importance of using what we have already produced, creating virtuous cycles that leave our world in a healthier place without limiting our living quality.

For the future health of our planet, recycling is set to become an essential industry. Alongside other mainstays of our lives, recycling is set to become a day-to-habit that needs everyone to contribute towards if it is to be a genuine success.

GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY: A TIME TO MAKE THE CHANGE PERMANENT

As recycling continues to become an industry with a vast future and significant importance, more has to be done to raise its awareness. For some, public awareness of the benefits of recycling and the dangers of continuing to use single-use items is simply not high enough. Many of our friends, family, colleagues, and contemporaries are simply unaware of how important it is to better care for our society. This means making intelligent decisions regarding recycling – and Global Recycling Day is the ideal day to begin.

SO, THIS YEAR, LET’S MAKE THIS THE HIGHEST-PROFILE GRD EVER!

With more work to be done and more effort needed than ever before to stem the flow of non-recyclable goods, it is essential that we do more to get people interested. Doing this alone at any given time can be tough…but on Global Recycling Day, we can all work together to get the message out there.

Recycling is an essential part of our future – it will play a key role in helping to undo some of the environmental damage already done.

Crucially, it can be used to help slow down, if not outright stop pollution and excessive reliance on single-use entities such as plastics.

Therefore, this year, if you are serious about caring for the world that we inhabit, get committed and join in with this year’s Global Recycling Day!

The challenges are real, but this is a day where we can all work together and improve our recycling knowledge. This is an essential industry – the sooner we are all aware of its benefits, the sooner we can see lasting, beneficial results.
